Full Disclosure

There is nothing more important to us than helping a parent determine whether their child is being properly cared for by a former partner. We were hired by the father of an eight-year-old boy who he had shared custody with the child’s mother. The child had told his father that his mother had a new boyfriend, and that the man was spending time with them on weekends. The boy also said that he and his mother had driven to Baltimore on several occasions to spend time with the man as well.

The father reported asking the mother about her new boyfriend, but she would not say who the man was. It was then that he got suspicious and thought that this person might be the woman’s ex-husband, someone who he knew had recently gotten out of prison and who had a long history of narcotics addiction.

A few days later, our investigators performed surveillance of the woman and followed her as she and her son drove to Baltimore. There, the two were observed spending the afternoon with a man who matched the physical description of the woman’s ex-husband. Photographs of this man were taken and provided to our client. The client was able to confirm that the man was, in-fact, the mother’s ex-husband. He was then referred to a local family law attorney for a consultation.
